Mohandas College became part of SDPK (SKILL DELIVERY PLATFORM, Kerala).
Mohandas College of Engineering & Technology, Anad, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram , has become part of the Government of Kerala initiated project (SDPK) for linking Engineering Colleges in the State with IT Parks through a Tele-Presence network. This state- of-the-art technology enabled learning platform will connect 150 Hi-Tech classrooms in the Engineering colleges in the State of Kerala and shall impart skill training to around 50,000 students every year. This skill database which will have the students profile will help industries to conduct placement drive for fresh Engineering graduates. The implementation of the SDPK project of linking Engineering Colleges through Tele Presence Solutions to IT Hubs in the state was taken up by KSITIL (Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd.)
The inauguration of the SDPK in MCET along with 19 other Engineering Colleges in the state was done by Honorable Chief Minister of Kerala, on 27/02/2019, through Video Conferencing at a function held at the Office of the ICFOSS, in Greenfield stadium, Kariyavattom, Trivandrum.
