The impact of MCET was more towards developing my persona than in an academic sphere. From the timid debater to the confident orator who could address the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, I've only MCET to thank for the numerous podiums it provided. Be it the opportunity provided to address the class, engage in debate competitions or participate in the arts festival, every stage groomed me to what I'm today.
One person whom I would like to thank is Dr.Asha Vasudevan, our chemistry teacher, who supported me in the initial days, when a word of encouragement meant a lot. I still remember the support provided by MCET for attending quiz and paper presentation competitions, which always turned out to be a source of envy for my peers.
Lastly, a word of gratitude for having some wonderful books in the college library, especially in the non-technical section. If not for those books at that point of time, I might have settled for something lesser than what I was capable of.
I passed out of MCET (CSE Dept) in 2014. Post which I have worked with an MNC for a few months and now I am pursuing my Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IFMR (Institute of Financial Management and Research) and will graduate by the end of March 2017. I am currently placed in Bajaj Finserv. MCET has been platform where I could enhance my knowledge as well as skills. Along with the technical exposure, I was able to gain exposure to fields of leadership, team work, management etc. which play an important role when one enters corporate life. Various cubs provided opportunities like these e.g. National Service Scheme.

An institution where my confidence level was boosted up and I developed continual learning strategy.
I was part of the second batch of students in MCET (2003-2007) for Information Technology stream. I owe a lot to this institution and its staff, as the learnings imparted to me from here has been one of the reasons , that I have been able to reach this far in my career. More than that, the experiences (both cultural and educational) has helped me grow as a good individual. This college has also given me some lifetime friendships who have been with me through thick and thin. Thank you MCET for everything.

It’s great honor for me to be a part of MCET family to learn, excel and put into practice. It’s the place which made me discover my hidden abilities. I am not only a student alumni, also a faculty alumni. I got an excellent opportunity to work as faculty for more than a year, which plays an important role in my career. I am really thankful to my faculties there who held my hand in every good and bad circumstance during my life in MCET.
After 12 years of schooling most of us joined MCET with the hopes of the most celebrated college life as portrayed in movies. Though most of our hopes were not met to when I look back I would like to say that the 4 years at MCET has helped me rediscover myself, has showed me the zenith of success and at the same time the depths of failures and above all has gifted me a bunch of friends, teachers and a treasure trove of memories and experiences. Wishing the MCET team and all my juniors the very best.
Lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I am a part of the first ever batch in MCET. I am highly grateful to MCET for the leadership lessons I learned from there and the career guidance received. It was wonderful 4 years of learning though we had the hiccups of the first batch in the college. That turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we learned the art of discovering solutions by ourselves. The staff was highly committed and stepped in as needed to mould the future.
