Additional Skill Programme sponsored by Pradhan Manthri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY)

All India council for technical education (AICTE) has approved Mohandas College of Engineering and Technology for skill development of youth under National Policy for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship-2015 by technical institutions. Objective of the program is to impart training for unemployed youths across the country inorder to enable them to acquire adequate skill under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and find suitable placement/self employment. This institution has been approved for offering courses on CNC operator turning, Field technician (computing and peripherals), IT coordinator in school and Television repair technician. The maximum intake is 25 for each of the courses. There is no age bar for admission. School drop outs who would like to attain higher order skills can apply for the program. Reservation for SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories as per the national/state policy is applicable. Preference will be given for the applicants seeking re-entry to the program. Applicants living in the vicinity of college will be given special consideration. Admissions will not be given to students who have taken similar type of training from some other training organizations. Aspirants shall contact the Principal, MCET at principal@mcetonline.com
